Think about it this way: How long are you actually at WOT? Not very long.
Knowing the Solo 1 events I've been to around here as well as the track days
I've attended, you should be okay provided you pay attention to the
temperatures.
I wouldn't try it without a large oil cooler for the engine and a good
oiling system which includes a good quality synthetic fluid and some way to
control the oil in the pan with perhaps a windage tray or crank scraper.
This would be on top of the necessary intercooler and good quality heavy
duty radiator.
This all will be a bit of a challenge in an Omni which are known to be hard
to cool given their small engine bays. You may find that you need a way to
remove the excess heat from under the hood via larger hood vents and/or
under car ducting along with shrouding the various radiators.
I would probably start out at stock boost levels, watch the temps and work
your way up.

Maybe I should be more specific.
I use my car for track days, and solo 1 events. So what I'm wondering is,
has anyone used more than 19 psi (285 hp/305 tq @ the wheels) for 15 minutes
or more at a time without blowing their engine? I have a 2.5 with a lot of
mods. I'd of course, like to have as much RELIABLE, useable power as I can.
