Back when Chrysler and Shelby first started working together, 1982, 
Shelby and Steve Hitter made a mid engined car out of a AC 3000 ME.
It was powered by a 2.2 Turbo 1 engine.

Steve Hitter still has the car. 

Today I SAW THE CAR and met Steve Hitter, down here in the LA area.

Took lots of photos to share later.
