We ran a quicky compression test on the 2.5 and one cylinder came up  
zero, so we gave up on the van project for now.   We walked a few  
rows down the Super U pull it and found a nice 87 Shelby (We have a  
non-Shelby 85 Charger).  We took off the hood, all the ground  
effects, and the front bumper/grill/thingy, and a tail light. They  
charged us 30 for the hood, 30 for the front piece, 25 for the  
taillight, and 8 a side for the ground effects.  Oh, we got both  
seats for 30, too.  Took a couple of hours.  We met a guy who's  
selling an 83 Shelby Charger for $900, and we might pick it up. Has a  
five speed and air, non-turbo of course.

So the whole thing wound up a Shelby Dodge kind of day anyway.

This is the 3rd Shelby Charger we've seen in this Albuquerque  
junkyard, and eventually they all go to the crusher.
